Location: Nottingham, office based
Remuneration: Above market rate
Start date and end date (approx): This is a permanent position and is available for immediate start. (Flexible on start date based on notice period)

Job description:
As the Project manager, you have an entrepreneurial mindset to oversee and manage the efficiency of our R&D team and activities. You will be responsible for managing of £5m R&D activities and resources including
* day-to-day activity management
* R&D team projects management (15 researchers)
* Resource management (equipment and grants)

Essential:
* Minimum B.Sc degree STEM
* +5 years of project management experience
* Expertise in managing and reporting upon budgetary controls associated with R&D projects.
* proficient in project management tools and methodologies
* Self-starter, able to design, implement and own project management systems.
Desirable:
* Experience with grant management
* Previous exposure to complex R&D projects, and or deep-tech start-ups
* Project management experience in relevant industry sectors – carbon capture/utilisation/storage, materials science, materials chemistry
