The role
As a Senior Document Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for document management independently and primarily in complex situations across P3M, ensuring processes and controls are effectively implemented throughout the project lifecycle. Your work will contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of documentation, playing a key role in supporting project teams and stakeholders.
Day-to-day, you’ll manage project documentation, oversee processes, and ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements. The Senior Document Controller will establish and maintain document management plans and support stakeholders in ensuring documentation is accurate, consistent, and up to date.
* Register and capture documents in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), including Cavendish, client, and subcontractor documentation.
* Review document formats, coding, and adherence to checking & approval processes for signatures.
* Circulate documents for review, information, and acceptance.
* Provide daily, weekly, and monthly status reports.
* Manage archiving, closeout, and handover at project completion.
Essential Experience for the Senior Document Controller
* Extensive document control experience in a complex environment.
* Experience in a similar business sector, with knowledge of project documentation processes.
* Strong stakeholder communication and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications for the Senior Document Controller
* Experience with contracting methodologies (e.g., FIDIC, NEC3, JCT).
* Level 4 National Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
This role is full-time 37 hours per week, and provides hybrid working arrangements, with three days in the office and two days from home.
