What You’ll Do As Assistant Merchandiser at TBCo, your responsibilities will include: Supporting Product Strategy: Assist in building seasonal product ranges that reflect our brand identity, meet commercial goals, and resonate with our customer. Data-Led Planning: Monitor product performance, analyse sales trends, and provide insights to support range planning and in-season trading decisions. Range Building: Collaborate with the Product team to help shape cohesive, well-balanced collections across categories. Market Awareness: Research competitor activity, pricing strategies, and customer preferences to help inform merchandising decisions Inventory Optimisation: Support stock management processes to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time. Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with Buying, Marketing, and Ecommerce to ensure alignment across all customer touchpoints. Sustainability Focus: Champion sustainable choices by supporting the selection of responsible materials and mindful product planning. Always Evolving: Stay curious and open to learning, contributing fresh ideas and feedback to help continuously improve our merchandising approach. About You We’re looking for someone who is: Commercially Curious: You’re interested in what makes products perform—driven by customer behaviour, data insights, and evolving trends Detail-Oriented & Organised: You naturally spot the small things that make a big difference, and you're comfortable juggling timelines, data, and processes. Numerically Confident: You’re comfortable working with numbers, Excel/Google Sheets, and performance reports to help inform decisions. Proactive & Adaptable: You take initiative, stay flexible, and embrace change in a fast-moving environment. Collaborative by Nature: You work well across teams, building great relationships and contributing positively to team culture. Curious & Eager to Learn: You’re excited to grow your merchandising skills and develop a deeper understanding of the full product lifecycle. Sustainability-Conscious: You're aligned with our purpose and passionate about supporting responsible retail practices. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, Textiles, or a related field Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools. A solid understanding of merchandising principles, product lifecycle, and retail trends. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with merchandising systems or inventory tools is a bonus. A collaborative working style, with the ability to build positive relationships across departments. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. A growth mindset and a drive to continually develop your skills. Why Join TBCo?
