Working alongside experienced and qualified staff you will learn Fault find and repair. Working under supervision you will work towards being responsible for a range of tasks including
* Carrying out checks and maintenance.
* Be reactive to and carry out repair on breakdown.
* Electrical maintenance & wiring.
* Monitor and interpret data to support efficiency of machinery.
* Fault diagnosis and repair on engineering systems & equipment.

Working towards a Level 3 advanced Engineering Fitter apprenticeship, while attending NWTC on day release for training and Further Education and with your employer for the remainder of your working week training on the job. NWTC will monitor your Apprenticeship on a regular basis to ensure you achieve the standards required including core skills, knowledge and occupational behaviours in preparation for End point assessment and where required Functional Skills.
