The Art Ministry has been providing activities in a wide variety of arts and crafts, particularly for the disabled and disadvantaged, for over 30 years. These activities help reduce social isolation and increase self-confidence and self-esteem leading to an improvement in mental health and wellbeing.
Sessions are run for the visually impaired, physically disabled, people with mental health problems and adults and children with learning difficulties. We also run projects that engage with the wider community.
The trustee treasurer will ensure that proper accounts are kept and that reporting is done on time.
We are looking for a numerate person, capable of working with spreadsheets, writing reports and using the internet. Good interpersonal and team working skills are needed.
The role can be done from home and requires about four hours per month.
