Settings Manager – Leading provider of Wraparound care Morden Surrey up to £13.50 Monday - Friday role 15hours per week Afterschool club 3:00pm-6:00pm Term time Full time hours during holiday clubs About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Afterschool Club Settings Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of an afterschool provision. This role is perfect for an individual with experience in childcare, education, or sports coaching, who is passionate about creating a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day running of the afterschool club, ensuring a high standard of care and activity provision. Plan, coordinate, and deliver a varied program of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and educational games. Ensure the club operates in line with Ofsted regulations, health and safety standards, and safeguarding policies. Lead and manage a team of staff, providing support, training, and supervision as needed. Build strong relationships with parents, children, school staff, and other stakeholders. Handle administrative duties such as attendance records, staff rotas, and incident reporting. Manage club resources, ensuring appropriate equipment and materials are available for activities. Support children's individual needs, including those with SEND, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment. Requirements: Experience working with children in a childcare, education, or sports coaching setting. Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role is desirable. A recognised childcare or playwork qualification (Level 3 or equivalent) is advantageous. Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Ability to create a fun and stimulating environment that encourages children’s development. First Aid and Food Hygiene certificates (or willingness to obtain). Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
