Job Title: Test Automation Engineer - Playwright

Role Description
This is a key role within the Data space at Admiral. The QA Engineer will work in multi-disciplined squads focusing on optimizing the DevSecOps model of delivery. The strategic vision includes enhancing Admiral’s cloud presence and shifting left in the testing process, with a particular focus on in-sprint test automation.
Key Responsibilities
* Work in a multi-discipline integrated team, refining and prioritizing backlogs while delivering in an Agile methodology.
* Define tools and frameworks to develop and maintain test automation.
* Collaborate with the development team to establish strategy and best practices.
* Provide clear and accurate documentation for tests and test automation.
* Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
* Continuously update skills by staying informed of advancements in testing and test automation.
Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience
* Extensive experience in testing and test automation.
* Expertise in building and enhancing complex test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript.
* Strong experience in BDD frameworks like Cucumber or similar.
* Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) components.
* Experience in integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
* Hands-on experience with YAML / PowerShell scripting.
* Knowledge of working in Agile environments and participating in QA-related Agile ceremonies.
* Familiarity with tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Git.
