Job Summary:
Join our team to ensure the security, care, and smooth operation of our church premises. You'll maintain a high-quality environment, oversee cleaning and maintenance, and support the church community and its hirers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Secure the building and manage access.
2. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the site.
3. Oversee heating, lighting, and energy conservation.
4. Act as Health and Safety Officer.
5. Coordinate with contractors for repairs and maintenance.
6. Support events by setting up furniture and equipment.
7. Manage emergency situations and routine security.
Requirements:
1. Competent handy person skills.
2. Strong organisational and communication abilities.
3. Ability to work flexible hours and be on call for emergencies.
4. Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
This is a live-in role, so the role comes with a 2-bedroom flat on premises, which is a requirement for you to be able to service the role properly.
Please note an enhanced DBS check would be required.
