We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic classroom practitioner who will be able to contribute to the success of an ambitious Information Technology Department.
As a passionate and highly effective teacher, you must be able to teach ICT to all abilities, across KS3 to KS5 and deeply interested in teaching and learning. As a faculty the option to teach either Computer Science
or Business Studies is desirable, but not essential.
The school offers all employees training and support, peer mentoring, personal development (middle leadership / lead practitioner training where appropriate) and the chance to develop skills further by supporting extra-curricular activities.
Sherburn High School is a friendly, top performing and innovative school set in an attractive position in the North Yorkshire rural village of Sherburn in Elmet, which is only 10 minutes from the A1(M) hence making it easily and quickly accessible from Leeds, York, Doncaster, Bradford, Pontefract and the surrounding areas.
