Integration and Systems Validation Engineer - Graduate Programme 2025 Salary : £31,500 plus a £3000 joining bonus. Location: Bristol Working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working, but this will depend on project requirements and the need for access to specific site facilities. Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. The opportunity: Working within one of our Systems Design departments, you will be involved in designing and testing the latest Complex Weapons capabilities for the UK and partner nation Armed Forces in response to advanced threats in Air, Land, Maritime and Cyber domains. You will undertake four six-month placements over the two years, working on a variety of projects according to your interests and skill set. For successful Systems Design candidates that are selected for the Integration and System Validation function, these placements may include: Definition of requirements for trials facilities, targets, instrumentation, and functional tests. Generation of trials documents such as Safety documentation, Security documentation, Proving Instructions, and Trials Schedules. Conduct of lab-based assembly, integration and testing of sub-systems for verification and validation. Conduct of off site platform integration and test of systems, including on board naval vessels. Conduct of off site trials for weapon system tests and demonstrations, including live firings. You may choose to undertake one six-month placement in another part of the company or potentially in one of MBDA’s international offices. Alternatively, the placement could be external to MBDA with another defence supplier or with the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
