If you have experience in a machine shop environment within the manufacturing sector and have successfully managed and trained a team of assembly technicians, the role of Cell Leader could be an opportunity to grow your career with this very well-established firm.
The role of Cell Leader will be responsible for the following areas:
* Managing and motivating production operatives
* Performance management and staff development, setting clear objectives
* Optimising production capacity and output using lean manufacturing techniques
* Setting and monitoring KPIs on the shop floor
* Ensuring operational output, quality, and cost targets are met
We will be excited to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following skills for this Cell Leader role:
* Experience in managing a team of assembly technicians within a manufacturing environment
* Cylindrical grinding, surface grinding, bore grinding, and milling
* Ability to work effectively in a high-paced and demanding environment
* Strong communication skills, both written and oral
* Experience in upskilling and training staff
* Lean Six Sigma qualifications
