Currently, we have excellent opportunities for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) to join a dedicated and compassionate team at a well-established mental health hospital. This role offers flexible shifts, including part-time, full-time, and nights, providing you with the chance to contribute to the care and recovery of patients in a supportive, therapeutic environment.

* PICU
* Acute
* Specialist DBT Unit for personality disorders
Salary: up to £38,716.08 (DOE) + £5,000 Welcome Bonus + Enhancements
Position: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Hours: Full-time, Part-time, and Nights available (37.5 hours per week)
Setting: Inpatient Mental Health Services
Location: Manchester, SK8
Your key responsibilities will be:
1. Provide and support nursing care as a named nurse for a defined group of patients.
2. Assess, plan, and deliver patient care in collaboration with patients and families.
3. Engage with patients to assess needs and evaluate progress in recovery.
4. Promote and adhere to the DBT model of care for personality disorder patients.
5. Participate in quality improvement processes and clinical governance activities.
6. Communicate care information clearly and ensure accessibility for patients and families.
7. Act as the Nurse in Charge, ensuring a safe and therapeutic ward environment.
8. Maintain accurate clinical records and foster effective communication within the team.
9. Contribute to the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) process, collaborating with all services.
10. Uphold professional codes of practice and national guidelines in care delivery.
11. Provide leadership on shift, ensuring patient safety and quality care at all times.
12. Participate in ward activities, supporting therapeutic interventions.
13. Engage in personal and professional development through training and CPD.
14. Support service improvements through innovative and flexible care approaches.
15. Be a key team player in delivering positive patient outcomes.
For this role, we're looking for someone who has:
1. Active Registration with the NMC and current PIN.
2. Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
3. Commitment to service improvement and high-quality patient care.
4. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
5. IT literate and skilled in record-keeping and team communication.

Pay enhancements:
1. Monday to Friday (22:00 - 06:30) - 20% of hourly rate.
2. Saturday - 20% of hourly rate.
3. Sunday - 50% of hourly rate.
4. Bank holidays - 50% of hourly rate.
