Self Employed Support Assistant for a Young Person - 20 hr/wk @ £15.50/hr in BS10, Bristol
Job Overview
I am looking for a self-employed support worker to help me out in the community and at home. I am 22 years old and I have autism, which means that I find communicating with other people difficult and hard to follow on my own. I am good at some social things such as knowing the way everywhere in Bristol, maths, building complicated rail tracks, and trying to be as independent as possible with one-to-one support to assist me.
Responsibilities
1. Taking me on fun days out!
Requirements
1. Must have PBS (Positive Behaviour Support) training.
2. Enthusiastic, caring individual with a willingness to learn and provide fantastic support alongside daily living skills.
3. Experience working with young adults and autism.
4. Experience/training in Positive Behaviour Support therapy.
5. Enjoy doing sports activities such as swimming, tennis, and football, and going for a drink with friends.
6. Patient, reliable, fun, active, and understanding.
7. A clean driving license is desirable.
8. Full DBS required.
Hours
Up to 20 hours per week, some during the weekday, two evenings, and 4 hours on a Saturday depending on candidate availability, which can be discussed at interview.
Pay
£15.50 per hour.
