RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing manufacturing business in Middlewich who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance department. The role has come around to support the Accounts Payable function, you will work closely with and report back to the Accounts Manager. 25 days holiday 8 bank Free onsite parking Early finish every Friday Study support Life assurance Health insurance Pension scheme The Role To oversee and manage the accounts payable/purchase ledger function for the accounts department Process, matching, checking and coding invoices Matching purchase orders to invoices Setting up new supplier account and maintaining existing accounts Supplier statement reconciliations Payment runs Provide support to the accounts receivable/sales ledger when required Any ad-hoc support as required by the accounts manager The Person An AAT qualification or studying would be an advantage but not essential At least 5 years' experience within an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger or similar role Experienced using SAGE 50 is desirable Able to work within a busy fast paced environment with minimum support Willing to provide all around support in AR/Credit Control to cover absence e.g. holidays
