Within The Salvation Army, this position is called Employment Development Coordinator. Key Responsibilities: This role involves identifying, developing, securing and helping sustain appropriate work opportunities for unemployed persons within the local community. You will be responsible for engaging, training and managing a team of volunteers, as required. In addition, you will develop and maintain close working partnerships with Homelessness Services, Community Services and Corps, to support those in the community experiencing unemployment. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: Good knowledge of, and experience in, the Employability sector Ability to work as part of a team but also to work alone, under pressure and to targets Ability to follow process and be accurate with paperwork Great communication and IT skills.
