Job Title: Construction Planner

Salary: Up to £90,000 (total)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Planner to join our dynamic team, working on a high-profile commercial office new build and basic fit-out project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and execution of the project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project programmes, ensuring alignment with project milestones and client requirements.
* Work collaboratively with project managers, design teams, and contractors to ensure effective planning and sequencing of construction activities.
* Analyse and manage project risks, identifying potential delays and developing mitigation strategies.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout project execution.
* Regularly update and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
* Support procurement and supply chain teams in planning and coordination of material and resource deliveries.
* Utilise planning software (Asta Powerproject ) to develop accurate and efficient schedules.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential risks to timelines.
* Assist in contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and schedules.
* Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Construction Planner or similar on commercial developments.
* Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and best practices .
* Proficiency in Asta Powerproject is required.
* Experience working in live environments with strict health and safety protocols.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate project risks and challenges.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
