Role Description We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Practice Accountant to join a modern yet progressive accounting firm. We offer a variety of services to a wide range of clients nationally and internationally. You will have the opportunity to exercise autonomy over your work and ensure that your work is varied and interesting. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for: Preparation and review of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns. Meet with clients both on site and off site to perform sign off meetings for accounts and tax returns. Develop strong long-term relationships with clients through the management of your own small portfolio of clients. Increase the size of your portfolio by taking on new clients. Manage and train junior staff reporting to you. Qualifications AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience. A minimum of 3 years experience working in a UK practice environment is required. Knowledge of accounting software packages such as Sage 50, Xero and would be preferable. Strong accounts preparation skills. You will be a team player and have good all round experience of a practice environment and are willing to help out in all aspects of what the practice does. Good IT and communication skills. Good analytical skills including good command on Excel. What can you expect in return?
