JOB DESCRIPTION: CNC Setter, Operator, Miller, Turner - Machine Tooling, CNC Machining, Manufacturing
This is a hands-on role, setting up a machine, reading drawings, and adjusting equipment while checking. You will be working in a medium-high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
40-hour working week (6am - 2.30pm Monday to Thursday, 6am - 12pm Friday)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Based out of our Milton Keynes HQ, your duties & accountabilities will include:
1. Operating Manual / CNC Machine Tools.
2. Setting & operating lathes and machining centres.
3. Maintaining product quality through first off and sample preparation.
4. Operating CNC and manual metrology equipment.
5. Maintaining on-time adherence for work schedule.
6. Maintaining the condition of machinery through routine machine checks and cleaning routines.
7. Personal and operational safety.
8. Actively engaging in continuous improvement for safety, quality, and efficiency.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You will have the following characteristics & experiences:
1. Machine Tooling experience (preferably Milling and/or Turning).
2. GCSE or equivalent in Maths, English, Engineering, or Craft qualification.
3. Dedicated to attention to detail and high-quality.
4. Keen to take responsibility and initiative.
