Salary: £100 per day + for the first year
Fringe Unqualified Scale 1 – 3: £23,140 - £28,123 per annum (second year during teacher training programme)
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025

We are seeking to appoint a Science Teacher Trainee to implement and deliver a knowledge-rich curriculum and support the overall progress and development of our students. You will facilitate and encourage an engaging learning experience, providing students the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
In your first year, you will work alongside our Science Teachers delivering small group support and team teaching. In your second year, you'll gain a PGCE (Post-Graduate Certificate of Education) and your Qualified Teacher Status while working hands-on in the classroom as a Science Teacher. Your tutor and coach will support you in building up your independent teaching time during the year.
The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to accept new ideas and a thorough commitment to student learning, with evidence of a high degree of subject specialism and professional development, as well as a flexible and adaptable attitude to meet the needs of the school.
