Job Description Share Share Share Job Title: EYFS (Reception) Teacher Location: Hull Salary Range: £120 - £184.88 per day (Depending on experience) Start time: ASAP Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time GSL Education are seeking a creative and passionate Reception Teacher to join our Early Years team. As a Reception Teacher, you will play a key role in creating an inspiring and secure environment where young children can thrive academically and socially. Responsibilities Of The EYFS (Reception) Teacher Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate lessons that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the learning and well-being of every child. Assess and monitor children’s progress through observations, formative assessments, and the EYFS profile, adapting teaching methods as needed. Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, helping them build confidence and social skills. Collaborate with parents/guardians to keep them informed about their child's development and offer guidance on how they can support learning at home. Work as part of a team with other teaching staff and support staff to develop cohesive and innovative teaching plans. Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, child protection, and health and safety in the classroom. Requirements Of The Year 3 Teacher Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications in early childhood education. Proven experience teaching in the EYFS or areception class setting. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and the ability to create age-appropriate lesson plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Creativity and enthusiasm to inspire young learners and make learning fun. Commitment to providing inclusive education and catering to the diverse needs of all students. Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and child protection policies. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
