Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Degree level education.
* CCAB Accountancy Qualification.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
Desirable criteria
* Higher level degree or postgraduate level management qualification.
Experience
Essential criteria
* Significant demonstrable experience of financial management, including knowledge of key accounting practices, principles, and standards.
* Experience of developing, applying, and utilizing costing practices and methodologies to drive organizational change.
* Experience of engaging with senior clinicians, operational managers, and other stakeholders to understand data and develop action plans.
* Experience of benchmarking, analyzing results, data visualization, and presenting opportunities using complex data sources.
* Experience of staff management and leadership, including delivering support, coaching, and training.
* Knowledge of human resource techniques to maximize staff performance.
* Creative and innovative with the ability to propose changes to working practices.
Desirable criteria
* Experience of costing within the NHS, including the National Cost Collection.
* A successful track record at a senior level within the NHS.
* Experience of developing or leading benchmarking and productivity dashboards.
Knowledge

* NHS Costing and national submissions (NCC).
