We are seeking a skilled and motivatedCardiac Physiologist or Clinical Scientistto join our expanding Echo team atPeterborough City Hospital, working across both acute hospital and community settings. In this role, you will provide specialist expertise and leadership within a team offering diverse Physiologist- and Scientist-led services.

Echo service delivery using BSE standards, the post holder will be expected to grow to include complex Echo delivery and reporting, to provide training and mentorship for Physiologists and Doctors training in Echo and to take an active role in research and audit opportunities.

Clinical Echo workload includes:
Standard Transthoracic, inpatient and outpatient service
Cardio-Oncology Echo service
Physiologist delivered contrast and bubble study service
Scientist and Cardiologist delivered Transoesophageal Echo service
Scientist and Cardiologist delivered stress echo service
Scientist and Physiologist led Valve Clinic service with capacity for on the day bike Stress Echo.
Community based Echo service across multiple sites
All complex echo services are provided from both of our acute hospital sites
