Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a junior contract manager, working across all Culina Group business units supporting the procurement of IT products and services, and the management plus administration of contracts.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. We’re offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.
Duties include:
* Ownership of administering the upload of contract dates and key details onto the Service Now platform to support the Procurement strategy to fully utilise its investment in the Service Now platform
* Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: support in the preparation/review of contract documents to ensure they meet legal standards and company policies
* Monitoring Contract Performance: Keeping track of contract milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure compliance and performance
* Maintaining Contract Records: Organising and maintaining a comprehensive database of all contracts and related documentation onto the Service Now platform to support the Procurement strategy to fully utilise its investment in the Service Now platform
* Supporting Negotiations: Assisting in contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to secure favourable terms
* Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring that all contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations, and identifying potential risks
* Collaboration: Working closely with various departments such as legal, procurement, and finance to align contract terms with business objectives
* Issue Resolution: Addressing any issues or disputes that arise during the contract lifecycle
* Assistance with the procurement lifecycle including, but not limited to, obtaining competitive quotes, purchasing including raising purchase orders, managing/processing invoices, managing supplier delivery times/logistics and supply issues
* Responsible for monitoring spend against budget on an on-going basis as required. This may include facilitating regular reviews with budget holders and finance to ensure timely production of accurate, meaningful analysis of supplier spend, classified by category and technology team. Providing updates to the Management Team
* Preparing MI (Management Information) reports for procurement and procurement related activities.
* Responsible for working with partners and suppliers to purchase, track and renew licenses as required and support and maintenance contracts
* Responsible for understanding and ensuring adherence to the supplier management governance including, but not limited to, relevant law, regulatory compliance, risk management, information security policies, data protection/processing and commercial requirements.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Worked in a similar role for 2 years +
* Experience of working with suppliers
* Advanced user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Preferable to have Service Now and S4 Hana (SAP) experience
* Attention to detail and analytical approach
* Excellent English language skills, dealing with telephone calls
* Flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business
