Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership, management, and support to the care team, fostering an inclusive, positive working environment that aligns with Burleys' values.
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and work toward achieving an “Outstanding” rating.
* Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and quality standards to enhance service delivery and ensure the safety and well-being of both clients and staff.
* Manage all aspects of service operations, including recruitment, training, and scheduling, to ensure high-quality care is consistently delivered.
* Implement effective Health & Safety practices and ensure that care services are in line with current legislation.
* Conduct quality assurance activities such as spot checks, service reviews, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of care.
* Build and nurture relationships with service users, families, and external stakeholders to ensure person-centred care that meets individual needs.
* Take responsibility for managing budgets and financial performance, ensuring the service operates within agreed parameters.
* Engage in scheduled on-call duties to maintain seamless service delivery outside office hours.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
* Hold or be working towards an NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience as a Registered Manager or similar role in a domiciliary or home care setting.
* Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and the ability to achieve high ratings.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing teams effectively.
* Commercially minded, with the ability to manage budgets and improve service efficiency.
* UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
* Legal right to work in the UK full-time.
