Looked After Children Practice Manager
London Borough of Redbridge are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Looked After Children Practice Manager looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. As well as joining a well supervised team, our client also offers opportunities for training to enhance your skills and excellent support within the team. This Looked After Children Practice Manager role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstances and your performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing a team of 5 practitioners
2. Reporting to Team Manager
3. Assisting the Team Manager with the allocation of work, maintaining, developing and encouraging high professional practice standards
4. Managing a duty rota
5. Managing the day-to-day duties of the team
Requirements / Experience preferred:
1. Post qualifying experience of working as a Looked After Children Practice Manager position within the UK Social Care industry.
2. Extensive experience in permanency planning, court work and people management
3. HCPC Registration
4. 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
5. Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
6. Eligibility to work in the UK
