Your New Role
The Galbraith Commercial Property Management Team are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic individual to work as part of the team and provide full time property management support across their portfolio of UK managed properties.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis and is based within our busy Commercial team in Edinburgh.
The role will provide an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a wide variety of day to day commercial property management tasks;
* Undertaking regular property inspections to ensure excellent presentation and operation of building facilities,
* Managing repairs and maintenance via our contractors and service providers. This includes managing the Helpdesk mailbox, requesting quotes, instructing works, arranging access, and confirming completion of works to the team.
* Providing consistent and regular communication with occupiers to aid high levels of customer satisfaction,
* Arranging health and safety audits, administering the H&S compliance portal, and instructing remedial works/ taking action as required,
* Maintaining accurate maintenance and H&S records,
* Collecting and submitting monthly utility meter readings to ensure billing accuracy,
* Assisting the property managers with the preparation of service charge budgets,
* Assisting the property managers with the management of void premises to meet insurance requirements.

The Successful Candidate
The successful candidate will have strong digital and IT skills with the ability to learn and understand new systems. They will also have excellent customer service skills.
IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable although not essential, as training can be provided.
A full UK driving licence is required, as is access to a car as some travel will be required to undertake inspections.
Previous experience of working within the property industry (commercial or residential) is desirable.
