RG Consultancy are working with an excellent group of companies based in Burnley who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team. Due to growth the company have expanded their team in recent years and this role is to replace someone who is due to retire.
Reporting to and acting as general support for the Financial Director, this Accounts Assistant role would be responsible for working on the sales & purchase ledgers and general day-to-day finance admin.
Duties include:
* Purchase ledger - matching invoices to delivery notes and gaining approval before processing onto the system
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Resolving any invoice discrepancies
* Sales ledger - creating and sending invoices
* Monitoring of accounts inbox
* Support Finance Director with month end
This Accounts Assistant role would be ideal for someone with experience working in an accounts office and is confident with working independently. There will also be scope to pick up on extra responsibilities as the role develops.
