The post holder will provide occupational therapy (OT) assessment & treatment interventions for service users & will carry a caseload as a member of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will support the development of the OT service provision within the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team. As needed, the post holder will work closely with OTs in the crisis teams across the county. There will be opportunities to co-facilitate group work. Key Relationships: To work with OTs within the service and the wider Trust network. To work with other Multi-Disciplinary Team members To work with service users and carers To work and liaise with other statutory and non-statutory service providers involved in service user care and Treatment. Duties and Responsibilities: To work individually with service users on specific tasks and therapeutic activity with minimal guidance by an OT To carry out specific OT assessments with minimal guidance by an OT. To be responsible for a small caseload as agreed by an OT To promote a culture of engagement in meaningful occupation within the service in order to enhance quality of life. To provide interventions in the manner that is consistent with Trust standards and values. To provide feedback to the team regarding observed occupational performance during a session which will contribute to assessment & therapeutic interventions To maintain clinical records using the electronic patient record system To liaise with carers and other professionals as relevant To exercise good personal time management, punctuality & consistent reliable attendance. To attend mandatory training. To undertake relevant activities to meet training objectives identified with your supervisor. To keep a record of training & development activities.
