Doncaster Vets for Pets have an exciting opportunity for an experienced part time cleaner to join our practice. This is a permanent part time role working 4 days per week, from 2pm to 7pm. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of various facilities. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will contribute to creating a safe and pleasant environment for employees and clients. The veterinary cleaner role is paramount in providing support to our veterinary surgeons and nursing team. This role will involve general cleaning and maintenance of clinical and customer facing areas, as well as the staff and laundry room. The ideal candidate will already have cleaning experience as a high standard of cleaning is required for the Surgery, able to communicate effectively and will be able to work well within the team but also under their own initiative. Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming Washing laundry, including animal bedding Clean and sanitize toilet, and replenish supplies Empty rubbish and replace garbage bags Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as kitchen, hallways and lobbies Clean consultation rooms once appointments have concluded Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines Benefits: Salary: national minimum wage depending on age.
