The Role
The Global Corporate Development Director is a high-impact external facing role, reporting into the CFO where you’ll work closely with CFO, CEO, senior leadership, investors, and financial institutions, to lead critical fundraising initiatives, oversee due diligence processes, and build strong, lasting relationships with stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities
As the Corporate Development Director, you will be in charge of Fundraising, Investor Relations and Strategic Leadership:
* Drive equity and debt capital raising efforts, working with existing and potential investors, investment banks, and financial partners.
* Develop and present compelling investment materials, including pitch decks, business plans, and financial models.
* Together with the CFO, drive negotiations and structure deals to optimize financial outcomes and align with business objectives.
* Maintain a thorough understanding of capital markets, identifying trends and opportunities to secure competitive financing terms.
* Act as the central point of contact for potential investors, their advisors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication throughout DD processes.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for existing investors, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear and consistent communication.
* Prepare and deliver regular investor updates, including financial performance, strategic initiatives, and market developments.
* Organize and lead investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences, showcasing the company’s vision and growth strategy.
* Stay ahead of market and industry trends, offering recommendations to enhance the company’s financial position and competitiveness.
* Provide strategic insights to guide decision-making on capital allocation, M&A, and other key initiatives.
* Drive carry structuring together with CFO.
What You’ll Bring
* 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or a similar leadership role, with a proven track record in equity fundraising.
* Understanding of the VC industry, capital markets and investor expectations.
* Expertise in managing due diligence processes for complex transactions, including M&A or large-scale fundraising initiatives.
* Strong financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
* Excellent relationship-building skills, with experience engaging with institutional investors, banks, and other stakeholders.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with exceptional organizational and project management abilities, consistently anticipating needs and responding swiftly to challenges.
* A degree in finance, accounting or similar. MBA would be a plus.
