Works Coordinator
1. Salary: £26,.34 - £29,.44 depending on experience
2. Location: Infinity Office, Barnsley, S75 1HT
3. Hours per week: 40, Monday to Friday
Norse Group are a lead facilities management services provider built on a foundation of joint ventures with Local Government partners. We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Works Coordinator to join our team at Infinity on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Role:
Your role will be to provide a range of administrative, planning and support services to our Compliance Team. You will focus on works coordination of both planned and reactive requests to include arrangement and closure to required response times. You will therefore be required to:
Responding to work requests from clients, allocating work to the external contractors, or internal teams efficiently- Raising purchase orders for external contractors, receipting of completed works and approval of related invoices.
4. Scheduling reactive and PPM work, ensuring work is effectively allocated according to engineer skills and business requirements. Prioritising work where appropriate.
5. Monitoring work requests to ensure satisfactory conclusion and ensuring system information is accurate and current.
6. Managing the tracking of client projects, to include timely project updates to clients.
7. Maintain and update appropriate monitoring systems, including the investigation and correction of errors/exceptions and overseeing communal inbox with varying types of requests such as work orders, customer queries and updates to clients.
Our Successful candidate
It is essential that our successful candidate has excellent communication skills both verbal and written as your daily tasks will include; answering incoming calls, queries and emails from clients, providers and suppliers and responding appropriately. We are also looking for someone with previous administration experience within a busy office environment along with the following:
8. Experience of working in a customer facing role
9. Knowledge of facilities management
10. Experience of co-ordinating work in a fast-paced environment.
11. Experience of assigning work to appropriate contractors, including issuing purchase orders
12. Competent in use of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and information databases
13. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
