Experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Harrow
We need a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a warm and inclusive primary school in Harrow. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), who is keen to make a positive impact on their learning and development.
- Provide tailored support to students in Key Stages 1 and 2, helping them access the curriculum and achieve academic success
- Work with individual students and small groups, particularly those with SEN, to promote learning and development
- Assist class teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all learners
- Foster independent learning and inclusion, ensuring all students feel valued and supported
- Implement targeted interventions under the guidance of the SENCO to aid student progress
- Develop and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual students
- Monitor and support student behaviour and learning in the classroom
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with teachers to ensure consistent support
- Previous experience working as an LSA or in a similar role, particularly supporting children with SEN
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach when working with young children
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting both the academic and personal development of every child
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential

- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible, and all gaps in employment must be explained
