The role is essential in contributing to the delivery of our EPRR vision of 'working together to make Essex the most resilient healthcare system in the world'. The role will also support the System Co-ordination Centre (SCC) as part of a 7 day a week roster. The EPRR and Business Continuity Support Manager will work with a wider range of internal and external stakeholders to develop and maintain arrangements to manage operational pressures, escalation management and incidents including with healthcare providers within the MSE Integrated Care System, multi-agency partners across Essex and regionally. We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented EPRR and Business Continuity professional with excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of EPRR and Business Continuity within the NHS. The successful candidate will also be able to work flexibly and adapt to changes in priorities. Main duties of the job You will support on all aspects of the organisations EPRR and Business Continuity responsibilities under the NHS England EPRR Framework and informed by the local risk profile within Essex. This includes but is not limited to: Risk Management, On-call Management, Collaboration/Co-operation with partners, Emergency Preparedness, Incident Response, Business Continuity Management, Warning & Informing, Training, Exercising, Debriefing and Lessons. You will lead on a number of specific workstreams within the team. As a subject matter expert you will provide specialist advice and guidance to support develop and maintain EPRR and Business Continuity within MSE ICB and externally to commissioned services and mutli-agency partners. You will lead the SCC as part of a 7 day a week roster and support the ICB response to any incident, including coordination and subject matter advice to incident commanders as well as providing cross cover where needed. You may also support with the development and maintenance of arrangements relating to the SCC and Urgent and Emergency Care where there is an overlap to EPRR. You must: Have extensive knowledge and experience in EPRR and Business Continuity. Be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
