Fees Clerk
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum depending on experience
Working Arrangement: Hybrid working

We are currently seeking a talented Fees Clerk to contribute to our client's dedicated team. As a Fees Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the organisation's fee collection process, ensuring the smooth operation of this essential function. With your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you will be responsible for dealing with correspondence and telephone queries from solicitors and clients. You will also be involved in chasing payments through email, phone, and letter, as well as processing BACS payments when necessary.
To excel in this role, you will need to be well-organised and possess excellent administrative skills. You will be tasked with processing letters and reminders generated by the fee collection workflow, as well as assisting in the collection of complex and contentious debts. Additionally, you will be responsible for chasing fees in accordance with the organisation's current strategy, and liaising with Clerks regarding fee collection issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deal with correspondence and telephone queries from solicitors and clients.
2. Chase payments via email, phone, and letter.
3. Process BACS payments when necessary.
4. Process letters and reminders generated by the fee collection workflow.
5. Assist with the collection of complex and contentious debts.
6. Chase fees in accordance with the organisation's current strategy.
7. Liaise with Clerks regarding fee collection issues.
8. Perform general admin duties as required by the Manager.
