Blow Moulding Stores Maintenance Planner
Bellshill, Glasgow
Full time, permanent
We’re on the lookout for a Stores Maintenance Planner within our Blow Moulding facility to generate, coordinate and monitor effective planning for engineering activities. You’ll implement and coordinate best practice inventory management systems and processes whilst delivering customer service levels and budgetary control.
Focus for our Stores Maintenance Planner is the:
1. Delivery of an effective planning cycle within a reactive environment.
2. Delivery of an effective engineering stores environment to ensure parts availability at optimised costs.
In this role the key responsibilities will include:
1. Delivery of Inventory Management Plan in line with Muller Excellence.
2. Day to day management of the stores goods in and goods out.
3. Complete regular cycle counts and full stock counts in line with the ME roadmap.
4. Improve part descriptions in line with Muller UK standard naming format.
5. Update and monitor the material codes for all materials on site.
6. Control minimum and maximum order points with Engineering team.
7. Attach relevant documentation to each part record including food safe records and data sheets, ensuring the relevant data is up to date.
8. Purchase request information and accuracy.
9. Ensure associated costs are allocated to correct assets.
10. Administration of the CMMS system.
11. Track completion rates.
12. Prioritisation of safety and mandatory tasks.
13. Participate in site planning meetings with forecast future maintenance activities/actions.
14. Prioritisation of backlog corrective work through functional reviews.
15. Support and develop reliability centred maintenance studies and outputs.
16. Support the operations team in planning asset care.
17. Planning activities to be aligned with site criticality matrix.
18. Ensure quotes are received and orders raised and approved prior to activity.
19. Actively participate in identifying and implementing initiatives to improve the overall cost performance and efficiency of the Supply Chain.
To be a successful Stores Maintenance Planner, we’re looking for:
1. Experience of stores CMMS.
2. SAP Experience is Essential.
3. Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external customers/suppliers.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Engineering parts knowledge.
6. Stores/inventory management.
7. Ideally the completion of an engineering apprenticeship.
