About The Role
A newly promoted role for a Finance Manager in the growing Concrete Division. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a great prospect for those looking for a role where they can be in control of all aspects of the financial accounting and reporting. You will be working within a well established group that offers fantastic opportunities for development and progression.
About Your Role
As the key contact for the business, your role will include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports, including the provision of commentary of business performance against Budget, Forecast and Prior Year.
* Maintaining balance sheet control through up to date balance sheet reconciliations.
* Collaborating with the relevant business managers to produce and analyse annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
* Supporting a successful external audit process.
* Identifying and initiating continual improvements in team’s methods of working.
* Providing support to the Financial Controller with other requests / ad-hoc projects.
We're Looking For
* A qualified member of ACA / CIMA / ACCA.
* A driven individual who wants to take ownership of the end to end financial accounting and reporting processes.
* An individual with strong interpersonal skills who enjoys building relationships and collaborating with all areas of the business.
* Someone who possesses strong analysis skills with the ability to interrogate systems, analyse data and produce insightful information which can be used to improve business performance.
* An individual with a firm grounding in financial controls with the ability to coach non-financial colleagues in their importance and adherence.
* Previous experience in manufacturing and exposure to integrated business systems/ERP in addition to accounting software preferred.
