PHSE Tutor Permanent role Monday to Friday 37 hours per week West Yorkshire LS22 Free Parking DUTIES The PHSE Tutor is responsible for delivering educational programs and support to candidates within a specific phase of rehabilitation. This role focuses on promoting academic achievement, personal development, and life skills to facilitate successful reintegration into society for personal, social, health and economic education. To work collaboratively with correctional staff, educational professionals, and other stakeholders to create a safe and effective learning environment. Provide individualized and group tutoring sessions in core subjects such as literacy, numeracy, and life skills Develop and implement tailored educational plans that address the specific needs and goals of individuals within the assigned phase. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to encourage improvement and engagement. Create a supportive and respectful classroom atmosphere that promotes positive behavior and fosters learning. Facilitate workshops or programs aimed at developing social skills, conflict resolution, and other personal development topics.
