A top-tier media agency is seeking a detail-oriented Office Manager with extensive bookkeeping experience to join their Birmingham headquarters. This diverse role blends financial management with overseeing the daily operations of the office, supporting a vibrant team that collaborates with prominent global media brands.
Salary: Up to £40K
Location: Birmingham (on-site)
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate financial records, including sales/purchase ledgers, expenses, and royalties.
* Manage multi-currency reconciliations across bank accounts, PayPal, and Stripe.
* Process invoices, supplier payments, and assist with credit control functions.
* Prepare VAT returns and provide support for year-end financial reporting.
* Oversee office logistics, including tracking supplies and equipment.
* Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, and manage service schedules and contracts.
* Offer general administrative support and help optimise internal processes.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in bookkeeping and office management.
* Proficiency in cloud accounting software and Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and clear communication.
* Confidence in managing relationships with suppliers, contractors, and supporting internal teams.
* A bookkeeping or accounting qualification is a plus.
