HVAC Contracts Manager
£50,000 - £55,000 + car/allowance £5,000 p/a
Hybrid working - Yorkshire and the North West
We are currently recruiting for a HVAC Contracts Manager to manage a multi-site contract covering sites in Yorkshire and the North West. Working for the M+E division of a well-known FM company, you will manage a team of M+E engineers across the sites who are responsible for the day-to-day PPM and reactive maintenance of the building facilities. P&L is circa £1m for your mixed commercial portfolio. You will also be the regional manager in the North West with HVAC expertise, which is an area they are looking to grow, so your portfolio and career opportunities should also grow too!
The role is a mix of working from home, the Blackburn office, and visiting several other sites as required around the north. One of the largest contracts is in Leeds, so you will travel here often too.
Duties of the role include:
1. Managing all hard services provisions across several sites, managing a team of engineers.
2. Staff training, development, and reviews.
3. Managing client service delivery and contract KPIs over multiple locations.
4. Being accountable for the financial performance of the contract.
5. Developing meaningful and sustainable relationships with the client.
6. Managing all SHEQ requirements across the sites and conducting risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Managing all technical compliance across the contract.
8. Working with the operational and support teams to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective, and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded within the company's asset management system.
9. Managing subcontractors and negotiating rates.
10. Driving the profitability of the contract and managing the P&L.
11. Generating sales and cost-saving initiatives as appropriate.
12. Regularly meeting with the client to further understand their organization and requirements.
13. Helping to advance the HVAC provision in the North West.
14. Being the technical managing HVAC expert.
The Applicant:
The ideal applicant will have the following skills and experience:
1. Technical background essential in HVAC.
2. NVQ or City and Guilds in HVAC or Refrigeration.
3. Engineering management experience.
4. Experience of using a CAFM system and managing KPIs.
5. P&L/Financial experience.
