Governance Administrator Sutton Coldfield Hybrid 37.5 hours per week £26,000 per annum Temp We are hiring an experienced Administrator to join our client within the Sutton Coldfield area. The successful candidate will hold a clear Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one this is due to our client being based within the Education sector. Job responsibilities (not limited too) : Prepare agendas in consultation with the Chair and Principal/CEO. Prepare/ book meetings in a timely and organised manner. Maintaining and updating statutory records. Ensure the school website meets all statutory requirements set by the Department for Education (DfE) and Ofsted. Provide clerking support for Local Governing Bodies (LGBs) and trust board meetings. Prepare and circulate agendas, papers, and minutes in line with statutory timelines. Attend meetings (virtually or in person) to record accurate and professional minutes. Track actions from meetings and follow up with relevant stakeholders Act as a point of contact between governors, trustees, and school leaders. Schedule meetings and manage calendars for the governance team. Liaise with external stakeholders (e.g. Ofsted, auditors) when required. Any other adhoc duties when required Person specification: Strong administration skills. A clear in date Enhanced DBS. Familiar with computer systems.
