West Dunbartonshire Leisure Trust and Working4U would like to recruit two Sport and Active Leisure: Operational Services Apprentices.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Young Person aged 16-24 to work within a fast-paced leisure environment. The apprentice will be supported to be responsible for the general day-to-day frontline operation of the leisure facility, including:
1. Customer service focused delivery
2. Control of public and general health and safety
3. Assisting with event and hall set up
4. Cleanliness and housekeeping of facilities
They will be required to undertake a range of duties with a flexible day-to-day variable need.
The successful candidate will need 3 National 4 qualifications or equivalent (including English).

Requirements
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children and Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, and as such, membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
The employment for which you are applying is excepted from the provisions of section 4 (2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975.
