Were extremely proud to be on this journey, and hope you can join us About the role The Employee Relations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the organization through a merger process, focusing on employee relations issues that arise during this transitional period. Main Responsibilities Support with Organisational Design: Assist in the development and implementation of organizational design strategies to align with the post-merger business objectives. Collaborate with the operations team and leadership team to understand current organizational structures and support planning activities Support the design and rollout of new organizational charts, job roles, and reporting structures to reflect changes resulting from the merger. Compliance and Legal Support: Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies during the merger process. Collaborate with legal counsel and HR leadership to address complex employee relations issues and mitigate legal risks. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data related to employee relations, such as feedback from surveys and exit interviews, to identify trends and address concerns related to the merger. Prepare reports for HR leadership summarizing findings and recommending actions to improve employee relations during the transition. Conflict Resolution and Mediation: Address and resolve workplace conflicts that arise during the merger in the months following, providing mediation and support to employees and managers. Recommend and implement appropriate corrective actions to resolve employee relations issues effectively. Essential Criteria 3 years experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field, with proven experience in conducting investigations and handling complex employee relations issues. Experience in the application of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices across UK and USA Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Experience in change management and organizational transition. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with Project Management. Communications & Stakeholder management. Desirable Criteria Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR Certification or membership of CIPD. Experience of working in HR during a merger and/or acquisition, playing a key role during the integration. Experience working in a global role and/or team. This position typically operates in an office environment but may require occasional travel to various company locations. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support the merger process.
