About the role:
As a Domestic Assistant at MHA, you will be part of a dedicated team who provide a comfortable, safe, and hygienic environment for residents and staff. Duties will be varied and include cleaning and general tidiness of designated areas and maintaining the standards required. Every day will be different, and you will have the opportunity to use your people skills to make a real difference.
About the home:
Standing on the site of MHA's first ever care home, and nestled next to The Limes retirement living properties, you will find MHA's Westbury Grange care home. It is not difficult to describe the feeling you will get when you walk into Westbury Grange, because we have heard it so many times before. People tell us it feels like a home, from minute one. They say they can sense the warmth, feel the community, and see the confidence and companionship as they are greeted by team and residents alike.
About you:
The right values, attitude, and behaviours are more important than your previous career background. Therefore, whilst previous experience is desirable, your respect for older people and willingness to undertake training is more important. You do not need any qualifications to get started as a Domestic Assistant. You will have a kind, warm, and caring nature and be able to work well as part of a team but also use your own initiative.
If you want to know more then please apply via our website mha.org.uk.
MHA are fully committed to the principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) as this is embedded in our values: respect, nurture, and inspire. In addition, as a committed employer, we have been awarded level 2 under the Disability Confident Scheme.
Please note that interviews may take place prior to the closing date and if a suitable candidate is appointed the role may close early.
