About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 12 About the Role: The Team: The MI Commission team is integral to the Market Intelligence division, managing and executing sales incentives for a division with over $4.5B in Revenue and approximately 1,500 employees on commission plans. As a global team spanning the USA, Canada, UK, and Pakistan, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences to our sales team. We ensure accurate and motivating commission plans, driving revenue growth and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment. Responsibilities and Impact: Serve as the primary business partner to the sales team, leading all training and communication efforts related to commissions. Review and approve exception requests, ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the sales team's understanding of commission structures and processes. Collaborate with sales leadership to address and resolve exception issues, leveraging a deep understanding of the sales team's structure. Foster strong relationships with sales and operations teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration. What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications Strong experience in sales operations or business partnering within a sales environment. Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to manage requests effectively. Strong understanding of sales commissions and sales performance management. Additional Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's / Advanced degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field. Experience with commission systems and CRM platforms, such as Xactly and Salesforce. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Prior experience in designing and delivering training programs for sales teams. What Success Looks Like in 2025: Establish a comprehensive training program that significantly enhances the sales team's understanding of commission structures and processes. Develop a proactive communication strategy that effectively addresses the sales team's needs and minimizes exception requests. Achieve a high level of satisfaction among the sales team regarding commission processes and support. Build strong partnerships with sales leadership, leading to improved resolution of exception issues and alignment with business goals. Implement a feedback loop to continuously improve training and communication efforts based on sales team input.
