Facilities Maintenance Engineer
£35,000 (negotiable) plus benefits
The Facilities Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing facilities, associated infrastructure, and manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, timely, and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain assets such as plant, machinery, property etc. to ensure safe, continual, and efficient business operations.
2. Ensure that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished, and that troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed.
3. Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores, and training given.
4. Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments in finding ways to improve processes and increase machine reliability and performance.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
1. Competence in plant operation and maintenance.
2. Engineering, Electrical Mechanical, and Hydraulic knowledge.
3. General property maintenance knowledge and skills.
4. Knowledge of plant operation principles, methods, and processes.
5. Able to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, operational requirements, and management of manufacturing facility.
6. Good analytical skills with sound problem solving.
7. Microsoft Office skills.
8. Strong communication skills.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
