Management Accountant, Integrations R2R

The Management Accountant will join the GBS (Global Business Services) R2R (Record to Report) Integration team at IVC Evidensia. This team is pivotal in integrating newly acquired clinics into the IVC Evidensia accounting framework, ensuring alignment with group-wide accounting policies and processes. As part of this role, you will work on acquisitions from a range of countries, adapting to the varied requirements based on the acquisition pipeline.
This role offers a dynamic work environment where you will be responsible for the seamless integration of financials from acquired businesses, ensuring the accurate and timely production of financial reports until the acquisition is fully integrated into the relevant GP BAU R2R team.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
1. Sales Reconciliations: Work with in-country teams, Shared Services, and the GP team to manage control accounts and debtor balances, ensuring accurate reconciliations.
2. P&L & Balance Sheet Ownership: Produce clinic P&Ls and Balance Sheet reconciliations, identify risks and opportunities, and liaise with in-country and GP teams as needed.
3. Results Commentary: Provide clear financial commentary to in-country teams, GP teams, and the Integration Manager on key performance drivers and variances.
4. Query Resolution & Process Support: Address financial queries and support the in-country team in process execution.
5. Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
6. Audit Support: Assist with audit processes and resolve audit queries promptly.
7. Month-End Reporting: Oversee month-end reporting, including journal creation and posting.
8. P&L Production: Prepare clinic P&L statements, ensuring financial accuracy.
9. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
10. In-Country Team Support: Provide ongoing financial support to the in-country team.
11. Efficiency Identification: Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and cost savings.
Experience/Qualifications:
1. Qualified Accountant
2. Experience in Management Accounting roles in similar sized business
3. Ability to adapt and be flexible, the Integration team portfolio of countries is constantly changing so the post-holder will need to be able to react to the needs of the business
4. Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel
5. Strong attention to detail, able to deliver right-first-time results quickly
6. An enquiring nature to be able to confidently deal with the variety of different challenges presented by each territory
7. Proven ability to build strong relationships both within the SSC and with the wider in-country team
8. European Language skills are desirable, IVC Evidensia have a presence in several European countries
9. Experience of Open Accounts would be advantageous
