The Role
Acting as part of a team of provisioning engineering team, the Voice Provisioning Engineer will be tasked to technically verify and provision the TalkTalk Business portfolio of business voice products, ensuring the best possible customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Lead the provisioning of projects, offering remote support and technical advice during project calls and escalations.
* Manage data networking tasks, including Virtual server configurations, Networking infrastructure changes, IP Networking, Linux, SQL, PCAP, SQL & Voice Routing diagnostics.
* Assist with technical inquiries, perform site surveys, and contribute to solution architecture and cost assessments.
* Deliver engaging technical presentations to customers, validating and signing off on solutions while creating essential documentation like FDS, PID, and SOWs.
* Utilise your expertise in the Mitel suite of MiVoice products and applications, as well as the deployment of Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center.
* Manage data networking tasks, including switch installs, VLAN configurations, and server builds.
* Act as the lead engineer, overseeing technical aspects throughout the project lifecycle, in collaboration with project management.
* Provide technical support and incident resolution as needed.
* Engage with vendors, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth project execution and resolve issues.
* Participate in improving technical learning and share insights to shape new PBX and VoIP products.
* Foster professional development by providing guidance and training to colleagues.
Skills and experience we are looking for
The ideal candidate would have the willingness to learn, ability to adapt to various workloads, and is able to work under pressure.
* Proven experience working with VoIP, Mitel, Zoom and/or Meraki
* Data networking qualifications and/or experience
* Understanding of Cloud Deployment
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure
* Highly motivated and a well organised team player
