Project Manager – Markets Program Management (Regulatory Change & Control Remediation)
Belfast (Hybrid) | Approx. £66,500
We are seeking a Project Manager to join the Markets Program Management Team, supporting the delivery of multiple EU and UK regulatory change and control remediation initiatives. This role is ideal for an individual with prior project management experience, who can effectively support Programme Managers in driving key initiatives forward.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a strong understanding of Project Management (PM) policies, standards, and requirements.
* Draft key project documents such as initiation and scoping artefacts for review by Programme Managers.
* Coordinate working group (WG) packs, draft meeting minutes, record attendance, and track follow-ups.
* Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops, ensuring stakeholder engagement and action tracking.
* Maintain issue trackers and create progress reports for senior management meetings.
* Follow up with issue owners across Markets and non-Markets businesses to obtain monthly status updates.
* Review status updates to ensure they are clear, concise, and actionable.
* Monitor upcoming milestones, deliverables, and due dates, ensuring timely completion in the Project Tracking System (PTS).
* Update issue and remediation actions in tracking systems (iCAPs and PTS) based on Programme Manager guidance.
* Support portfolio-level tracking to ensure adherence to PM standards.
* Respond to ad-hoc requests for governance forums using standard project status reports.
* Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Key Skills & Experience:
Required:
* Strong oral and written communication skills – ability to articulate issues and provide clear status updates.
* Strong analytical skills with problem-solving and follow-up capabilities.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
* Highly organized and structured approach to project management.
* Ability to multi-task and track multiple workstreams effectively.
Preferred:
* 2-3 years of project management experience, preferably within a banking environment.
* Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
