About The Role STEM Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our client’s team, operating across the Central Belt of Scotland. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will: Perform planned and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure plant efficiency. Monitor equipment conditions, identifying potential performance issues. Lead mechanical breakdown repairs, minimising downtime. Implement effective repair methods to optimise plant operations. Support the Engineering Manager in meeting performance targets. Ideal Candidate Profile We’re looking for someone with: Experience with industrial mechanical equipment, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with maintenance systems and site safety procedures. Welding and fabrication skills. Basic report writing ability.Proficiency with PC applications and maintenance systems. What’s on Offer Salary: Starting at £36,000 - £38,000 (including shift allowance) Holidays: 28 days Company vehicle Training and development opportunities.
