Join our UK Commercial Analyst Team to drive data-driven insights, supporting Sales, Account Management and Marketing teams. This role is crucial in supporting the Sales team and is pivotal in optimising our strategy, ensuring a balanced supply to meet customer demand nationwide.
The role involves working with multiple stakeholders across the business so the ideal candidate will have exceptional organisation, communication and interpersonal skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
We are specifically looking for curious, big-picture thinkers who are also comfortable discussing the details, as well as proactive, self-motivated qualities. You will need to prioritise work across multiple areas and support the team in surfacing insights effectively.
These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
* Insights & Analysis - Prioritising and completing a range of analytical tasks using large complex data sets to provide the commercial teams with insights required to manage our restaurant estate.
* Reporting & Visualisation - Building insightful reports or self-serve tools for stakeholders to analyse performance.
* Data Storytelling - Taking business problems, completing analysis and then presenting a summary back to key stakeholders with next steps and recommendations.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to maximise the value of our data and analytics capabilities.
What will you bring to the table?
* Solid experience in an analytical role, ideally within a tech company, consultancy, large company with a reputation for rigorous data analysis or academia
* Ability to undertake data analysis using advanced SQL is essential
* Data visualisation experience, using Tableau or similar tools such as Looker, Power BI, Data Studio etc.
* Experience with Python, R, SAS, Stata, SPSS, or similar would be a big plus.
* Logical analytical problem solver with great attention to detail
* Any exposure to statistics and data science techniques/methodologies preferred
* Strong Excel/Google Sheets experience
* Commercial experience, having worked with Sales, Retention, Account Management is a bonus
* Ability to multi-task and engage a range of senior stakeholders
* Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills
